'Here is how Kit Kat became almost everyone\'s favorite chocolate brand. We cover the birth of the world\'s best chocolate bar, how it evolved and revolved around the concept of \'sharing\' and \'eating\'.  On August 29. 1935, when it came out, the chocolate wafer was called Rowntee’s Chocolate Crisp, and post World War II, it was called Kit Kat.  The famous slogan ‘Have a break..have a Kit Kat’  stuck created by Donald Gilles at JWT London Advertising Agency  since 1957,  is among the best slogans ever for any brand, purely due to its double meaning with the word ‘break’ meaning ‘time to chill’ and ‘break-ability of the brand’.
